Our Story

The JIAT FOSS Community is the student-driven Free and Open Source Software initiative across the Java Institute for Advanced Technology, officially launched and endorsed with our inaugural meetup in September 2026.


Supported by FOSS.LK, our guild is built on the belief that software freedom, peer collaboration, and continuous learning transform passionate students into world-class innovators and open-source contributors.
